The plot of the second part of the manga and anime series titled Naruto: Shippuden literally meaning: Hurricane Chronicles) in the anime and simply Part II in the manga, was set two and a half years after the present timeline in Part I. The new setting for the series began with volume of the manga. The anime adaptation of the manga started airing on February 15 2007, premiering with the first two episodes debuting in a one-hour special. Viz is working on a North American DVD series of Naruto: Shippūden, which was first released on September 29, 2009. The US publication of the manga began in January 2008, in the US issue of Shonen Jump
The sequel series to takes place about 14 years after Naruto and Hinata’s wedding that finished the series, and 16 years after the Fourth Great Ninja War. follows the story of the next generation, and places Boruto and Sarada, Sasuke and Sakura’s daughter, on the same squad, continuing the legacy.
Himawari is the second born child to Hinata and Naruto and is two years younger than her brother, Boruto. Himawari is currently 10 years old in the series and was born when Hinata was 22 and Naruto was 23.
Himawari inherited the Byakugan from her mother, and shares most of her looks, but she has her father’s eyes (when they are not being used for the Kekkei Genkai.) Though she also has the same whiskers on her cheeks that Naruto and Boruto have.
Little Konohamaru who was only 12 when Shippuden began, is now the team Jonin for Squad Seven in Boruto. Konohamaru is 27 years old, just a year older than Kakashi was when he was assigned to Team Seven.
Konohamaru still has ambitions to become the next Hokage after Naruto since that is still his role model, making it extra cute that he is the mentor towards his own son. Considering Konohamaru was about 8 years old when he first appeared, he definitely has come a long way.
Because Hinata’s birthday is towards the end of December (on the 27th.) She is younger in age than the rest of the Rookie Nine from the original series. Her birthday is three and a half months after Naruto’s, which makes her 32 years old when Boruto takes place. She was 20 years old when Boruto was born and 22 when Himawari was born. The franchise, like many popular anime of the 90s and 2000s, was based on a manga. Masashi Kishimoto created a sprawling world where ninja harnessed their chakra to accomplish impossible feats. The franchise is still ongoing with the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga and anime. Before Boruto became the center of the story, however, his father was just a kid trying to find his way in the shinobi world. Some of Naruto’s most popular story arcs include those of the Chunin Exams and the Sasuke Recovery Mission. In fact, many of the most popular, and the highest-rated, episodes land in those two story arcs.
I’ve seen a lot of anime throughout the years. I’ve seen what people call the ‘good stuff’, I’ve seen the ‘bad stuff’. In time, I realized and accepted that not everyone is going to like something, or dislike it. No matter what the anime (or movie, or book, or game, etc.) it boils down to personal preference. So, how do you know if you’d like something you’ve never seen but heard so much about? When I first started Naruto, I saw the potential in it. From the first episode, they presented a distinct setting with distinct characters. Sure, archetypes were being followed (the boy dreaming of becoming big, the old grandfatherly figure, the teacher, the rival). The first episode showed emotion and depth to its main character and what he will struggle with, along with the dynamics of his interaction with other characters and their quirks.
