Rosamund Pike is completely despicable because the conniving “caretaker” Marla Grayson in “I Care a Lot”. Billed as a comedy crime thriller, it’s virtually solely the latter two genres. Except you’re the type that considers aged abuse, corrupt healthcare and homicide funnier than a rubber crutch.
Pike is ideal on this position, all of the whereas figuring out that no one watching her efficiency is rooting for her cynical success.
Author/Director J Blakeson appears to be dispatching the message that solely lesbian ladies are powerful sufficient to win in a male-dominated world.
If this be the case, I name whole bullshit, J.
This Courtroom is Out of Order……WAAAAAY the hell out!
Grayson is unabashedly unfeeling, a soulless sycophant who will cease at nothing to gouge all she will from the unsuspecting seniors whose lives the court docket unconscionably awards her to administrate anyway she sees match.
This could’t be heading anyplace good……or can it?
As one could look forward to finding in “I Care a Lot”, there’s little in life as thick as thieves, and evil begets evil. However we will by no means be fairly certain if the final word comeuppance is coming or not for these callous crooks. And I actually am not one who cares to spill the beans. Nor the blood, because the case could also be.
In my expertise, the ladies I care a lot about are powerful as nails. And, most of the time, they reveal such whereas wielding a velvet hammer.
Simply don’t fuck with ’em, buddy.
